The River Ur is a major geographical feature of the plains. It flows out of- and then aprallel too- the Wyrmsteeth mountains, acting as a drainage channel for much of the mountains run-off. It meets the Great River and River Mumfé at Three Rivers.

Like all major geographical features, the Ur is said to be inhabited by a Great Spirit. Ur is said to resemble a huge, serpent like dragon comprised entirely of water. He must be consulted whenever one crosses his river.
